Duties

- Perform comprehensive cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Dispose of waste and recyclables responsibly, ensuring bins are emptied regularly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are fully equipped
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks when required to support overall building upkeep

Shift Hours : 12:00pm to 8:30am

Please Note: This role is located within a cannabis manufacturing facility. Candidates must be comfortable working in this environment.

Skills





- Proven experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning roles with a strong attention to detail
- Cafeteria cleaning ( tables, chairs, countertops, fridges, microwave) etc.
- Washroom and changeroom cleaning ( toilets, sinks)
- Hallways swept and mopped
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
- Strong communication skills for reporting issues clearly and promptly
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: From $18.15 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
