We are seeking a dedicated AZ Driver to join our logistics team, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of freight across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance. Shift: 7am - 5pm

Pay: $24/hour - $26/hour plys 4% vacation pay

Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Transport freight efficiently between warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Assist with inventory management by verifying freight loads and ensuring proper handling.




- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading cargo.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to safety, security, and transportation regulations.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries efficiently.

Qualifications

- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Verified employment references required for commercial driving, preferably with freight transportation.
- Skilled in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair basics.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks related to loading/unloading freight.
