Whitecourt All Terrain Ltd. is an Alberta-based equipment rental company specializing in ATV, UTV and ARGO rentals for industrial, oil & gas, pipeline, forestry and other field operations.

We are looking for a dependable, Rental Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, working around equipment, and taking pride in keeping a busy rental operation clean, organized and running efficiently.

Position Summary

The Rental Technician is responsible for preparing equipment for rental, maintaining the yard and shop, loading and unloading equipment, pressure washing and detailing rental units, and helping keep the operation organized.

The successful candidate will be someone who is reliable, physically capable, safety-minded and takes pride in their work. Attention to detail is important — our equipment needs to leave the yard clean, presentable and ready for the customer.

Key Responsibilities

Rental Equipment Preparation

- Clean, pressure wash and detail ATVs, UTVs and ARGO units after rentals
- Prepare equipment for customer pickup and delivery
- Perform basic visual inspections and identify damage, missing equipment or maintenance concerns
- Check that rental units are clean, complete and ready for the next customer
- Assist with basic equipment servicing and maintenance as required




- Report mechanical issues or damage to the Mechanic or Operations Manager

Loading & Unloading

- Load and unload ATVs, UTVs, ARGO units, trailers and related equipment
- Secure equipment properly for transportation
- Assist with customer pickups and returns
- Safely move equipment around the yard and shop

Pressure Washing & Detailing

- Operate pressure-washing equipment
- Thoroughly clean mud, dirt and debris from rental equipment
- Clean and detail equipment interiors, controls and exterior surfaces
- Maintain the pressure-washing area and equipment
- Follow proper procedures for wastewater and environmental control

Yard Organization

- Keep the equipment yard clean, organized and safe
- Organize rental units, trailers and accessories
- Maintain equipment parking and staging areas
- Assist with snow removal, grass trimming and general yard maintenance as required
- Ensure tools, equipment and supplies are returned to their proper locations

Shop Organization

- Maintain a clean and organized shop
- Put tools and equipment away after use
- Keep work areas clean and free of unnecessary hazards
- Assist with receiving, organizing and storing parts and supplies




- Help maintain an efficient workflow between the yard, wash bay and shop

- Takes pride in keeping equipment clean and organized
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Safety-conscious and willing to follow company procedures
- Previous experience around ATVs, UTVs, ARGO units, trailers or rental equipment is an asset
- Pressure-washing experience is an asset
- Mechanical or equipment experience is an asset
- Valid driver's licence is an asset
