Position Overview

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational performance, growth, and strategic execution of a multi-site hyperbaric medicine clinic network. This leadership role ensures the effective delivery of high-quality patient care across all locations while maintaining operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance.

The Director will provide hands-on operational leadership across five clinics located in Barrie, Newmarket, Brampton, North York, and Sudbury. The role includes responsibility for clinic operations, human resources management, partnership engagement, new clinic development, and ongoing performance optimization.

The successful candidate will be a strategic leader who is equally comfortable working at a high level while also maintaining a strong presence within each clinic to support staff, monitor operations, and ensure exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Clinic Operations & Performance

- Oversee the daily operations of all clinic locations to ensure smooth, efficient, and patient-centered care delivery.
- Conduct regular in-person visits to each clinic location to monitor performance, support teams, and ensure consistent operational standards.
- Monitor clinic scheduling and patient flow to ensure optimal utilization of hyperbaric chambers and treatment capacity across all locations.
- Track and analyze key operational metrics including patient volumes, attendance rates, cancellations, no-shows, and clinic utilization.
- Regularly review cancellation logs and patient attendance reports to identify trends and operational issues impacting clinic performance.
- Ensure cancelled or missed appointments are proactively followed up and rebooked in a timely manner to maintain continuity of care and maximize clinic capacity.
- Work with clinic teams to improve patient adherence to treatment schedules and minimize gaps in treatment plans.
- Implement systems and processes to improve patient scheduling efficiency and reduce no-show rates.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices across all locations.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow,



clinic efficiency, and patient experience.
- Ensure clinics operate in compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and professional guidelines.

Human Resources & Team Leadership

- Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of clinic staff including hyperbaric technicians, administrative staff, and clinic managers.
- Develop staffing plans and ensure appropriate staffing levels across all locations.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for clinic managers and staff.
- Address HR matters including employee performance, workplace culture, and conflict resolution.
- Support professional development and training programs to maintain clinical excellence and service quality.
- Foster a positive, patient-focused workplace culture.

Partnership & Referral Engagement

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians, healthcare providers, and strategic partners.
- Support the growth of referral networks across all clinic locations.
- Represent the organization in meetings with healthcare partners, physicians, and community stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to expand partnerships with hospitals, specialists, and healthcare organizations.
- Work closely with marketing and outreach teams to strengthen clinic visibility and engagement.

Current Clinic Development & Expansion

- Lead operational planning and execution for new clinic openings.
- Coordinate site development, equipment installation, staffing, and operational setup for new locations.
- Develop operational models and workflows for new clinics.
- Ensure smooth launch and integration of new clinics into the broader organization.
- Identify opportunities for future expansion and operational scalability.

Financial & Strategic Oversight





- Work with leadership to develop operational budgets and financial targets.
- Monitor clinic financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Implement cost-control measures while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Provide regular reporting and operational updates to ownership.

Director of Operations – Multi-Location Medical Clinics

We are a growing hyperbaric medicine clinic group with five locations in Barrie, Newmarket, Brampton, North York, and Sudbury. We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clinics and support continued growth of the organization.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires regular travel between clinics and close collaboration with clinic managers, staff, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations across all clinic locations
- Regularly visit clinics to support teams and ensure consistent standards of care
- Monitor clinic schedules, patient attendance, and treatment capacity
- Review cancellations and no-show reports and ensure patients are rebooked promptly
- Work with clinic teams to improve scheduling efficiency and patient adherence to treatment plans
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance management for clinic staff
- Maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and healthcare partners
- Support the opening and operational setup of new clinic locations
- Track operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient experience

Qualifications

- Experience managing operations across multiple locations (healthcare experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel regularly between clinics
- Experience with clinic operations, scheduling systems, and staff management is an asset

Pay: $70,497.05-$90,000.00 per year
