- Provides new hires with an orientation to the department & hotel.
- Provides a clean well-maintained hotel by supervising the laundry room and housekeeping operation
- Performs daily inspections of guest rooms, linen closets, corridors, and public areas, exit stairwells, elevator landings, hotel lobby and public washrooms and replenish/clean as needed
- Check, verify and monitor all out-of-order suites and follow up on repairs and maintenance deficiency
- Utilize effective leadership skills and team motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction
- Ensure staff adheres to departmental and company policies including Health & Safety and WHIMIS
- Monitoring the quality of employee performance and participate in the evaluation, coaching and discipline of employees, when necessary
- Performing administrative duties as assigned
- Performs room attendant duties as necessary
