We are looking for a General Carpenter to join our high-performance team of project and site management professionals on unique residential and commercial projects in the Kemptville area.

The role

You will work directly with site supervisors and foremen on high-end residential and commercial sites. This is a skilled general carpentry position within our core crew - framing, finish work, formwork, and site support - not a framing-only role.

Responsibilities

- Read and work from drawings, plans, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and install materials accurately
- Frame walls, floors, doors, windows, and decks
- Install trim and millwork
- Build and strip concrete formwork
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding
- Assist with general labour as required to keep the job moving
- Follow Ontario health and safety rules and site procedures at all times
- Work as part of a small, experienced crew and take direction from site supervisors and foremen
- Keep work areas clean, organized,



and safe

Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience in residential construction
- Strong carpentry skills across rough and finish work
- Solid basic math for measuring, layout, and material take-off
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Valuable physical condition and stamina for full-time site work
- Knowledge of Ontario construction safety regulations (OHSA and site safety practices)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew

Assets

- Ontario Certificate of Qualification — General Carpenter (403A) or registered apprentice
- Working at Heights, WHMIS, and other current safety tickets
- Experience with high-end millwork, custom homes, or commercial fit-up
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to Ottawa-area sites
- Own basic hand tools
