This role is for someone who is proactive, dependable, and detail-focused, with robust problem-solving skills and can identify risks while managing multiple priorities.

THE ROLE
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring clients and their customers are properly set up for secure, accurate, and timely payment processing. This position is responsible for collecting and validating client information, verifying banking details, confirming customer payment arrangements, supporting billing requirements, and helping to identify potential fraud risks.
ABOUT YOU
Successful Scotlynn Candidates Have:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in finance, accounts receivable, or compliance preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
- Proficiency with MS Office and AP, billing, or accounting software
Work experience in customer-facing roles from the following industries is welcomed and appreciated: banking, hospitality, or reception.
HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED WITH SCOTLYNN
- Verify required client onboarding documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Confirm banking details, payment methods, and remittance instructions to ensure secure payment processing
- Identify and monitor inconsistencies or red flags in payment instructions or documentation and escalate fraud or risk concerns
- Respond promptly and professionally to pay-status emails and client inquiries
- Communicate with clients, account debtors, billing, and funding teams to align on all setup and payment processes
- Identify workflow gaps or recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and fraud prevention

YOUR COMMITMENT
