We are looking for a Full Time -Pricing Assistant with minimum 3 years experience as a pricing or business analyst in a food or hospitality industry and in a fast-paced environment. The role involves maintaining and analyzing costing and pricing documentation and to make recommendations that will facilitate optimal pricing decisions.

Job Description

The Pricing Assistant will assist the Pricing Manager in establishing, maintaining and analyzing costing and pricing documentation and to make recommendations that will facilitate optimal pricing decisions.

- Reporting To: Pricing Manager
- Compensation: $48,000 - $51,000 per annum
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Job Duties

- Accurately complete costing & pricing updates in a timely manner
- Conduct margin & pricing analysis to support key business initiatives and company goals, as required
- Coordinate customer proposal development and strategies with Sales and Management teams
- Assists in assembling tenders, bids, and pricing updates to ensure meeting company strategies and profitability




- Work with menu development team to design and develop menu pricing to meet customer needs and all stakeholders’ requirements
- Attend menu presentations assisting in costing and pricing updates for the customers
- Performs and presents Excels pricing models and summaries
- Update and maintain all customer information in company database
- In absence of Pricing Manager, acts as a primary contact for all internal department inquiries
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Post-secondary degree in related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in food & hospitality industry
- 3-5 years’ experience in costing and pricing is an asset
- Experience in high volume food production is an asset
- Robust mathematical skills and proficiency using Excel
- Excellent communication skills both in written & verbal
- Strong analytical thinking skills, interpersonal skills & leadership skills
- Comfortable working and communicating with all levels of staff and management in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking in a busy environment
- Able to meet critical timelines
- Experience in using Cbase, Crystal Reports and SAP are assets

Pay: $48,000.00-$51,000.00 per year

- Mississauga, ON L5P 1A2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
