General Labour – MaintenanceJob Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labour – Maintenance employee to to join our dynamic team and support the day-to-day maintenance, cleaning, organization, and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This is a physically demanding position that requires regular lifting of 50+ lbs, tire handling and storage, snow removal, and general labour duties.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general maintenance and repairs as required.
- Complete daily cleaning and upkeep of work areas, facilities, equipment, and common areas.
- Perform snow removal, including shoveling, clearing walkways, entrances, and other designated areas.
- Regularly lift, carry, move, and stack materials weighing over 50 lbs.
- Handle, move, organize, and store tires safely and efficiently.
- Maintain organized and accessible tire storage areas.
- Assist with receiving, moving, and organizing maintenance materials and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain an adequate supply of cleaning and maintenance products.
- Keep tools, equipment, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized.
- Dispose of garbage, debris, and other materials as required.
- Assist maintenance staff with various projects, repairs, and general labour tasks.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties related to general maintenance and facility upkeep as assigned.

Requirements





- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry 50+ lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, push, pull, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely handle and move tires and other heavy materials.
- Ability to perform snow removal during winter conditions.
- Valid Driver's License to drive around periodically

Qualifications

- Previous experience in general labour, maintenance, cleaning, automotive, warehouse, or a similar environment is an asset.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and attention to cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors and in cold/winter conditions.

Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 per week
