Job Description

Montesanto Bakery is looking for a reliable and motivated Bakery Clerk (Front End) to join our team. This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone who is friendly, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will be the face of our bakery—assisting customers, handling orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming front-end experience.

Responsibilities

- Greet and serve customers in a qualified and friendly manner
- Take and package orders (pastries, cakes, deli items, hot table)
- Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front counter and display areas
- Restock products and assist with basic merchandising
- Support team members as needed during busy periods

Requirements

- Must be 18 years or older




- Previous customer service experience preferred (bakery or food service is an asset)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable and punctual

Availability Requirements (Important)

- Must be available to work all major holidays
- Must work a minimum of 2 weekdays
- Must have open availability on weekends
- Must be able to work both opening and closing shifts
