Dentistry on 7th is seeking an experienced, motivated, and dedicated Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator to join our growing practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys developing systems, building solid patient relationships, and helping a newer dental office grow from the ground up. We need a proactive individual who can take ownership of front-desk and treatment coordination responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide a positive, professional experience
- Manage calls, emails, appointments, confirmations, and recalls
- Present treatment plans clearly and confidently
- Follow up with patients regarding outstanding treatment
- Explain insurance estimates, financial arrangements, and payment options
- Submit dental claims and follow up on insurance payments
- Collect payments and manage outstanding balances
- Maintain an organized and productive schedule
- Proactively fill cancellations and schedule openings
- Support practice growth through patient retention and exceptional service
- Develop and improve front-desk procedures and office systems
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous dental reception or treatment coordination experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, insurance claims, and treatment plans
- Confidence discussing treatment costs and collecting payments
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, professional, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a growing practice where systems are still being developed
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to the team
- Knowledge and experience using Tracker dental software is an asset
