One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Machinist in the GTA region for their facility.

Shift - Days

Pay - Up to $34/hr

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacture and repair molds, machined components, and fabricated parts while meeting production deadlines.

- Perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, grinding, polishing, deburring, and assembly of tooling components.

- Carry out welding and brazing as required.

- Read and interpret blueprints to produce high-quality parts and tooling.

- Operate and maintain machine shop equipment safely and efficiently.

- Suggest process improvements through tooling, jigs, fixtures, or other engineering solutions.

- Assist with sample making, packaging, shipping, and material handling when required.

- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), 5S, GMP,



and all company Health & Safety policies.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma and Ontario Machinist Certification.

- Minimum 5 years of machine shop experience, preferably with thermoforming molds or similar tooling.

- Robust experience with milling machines, lathes, drill presses, grinders, band saws, and other machining equipment.

- Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

- Strong welding and brazing skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Must have basic personal machinist tools.
