Summary

Prime Boiler Services is seeking a safety-focused and dependable Installation Technician to join our Installation team. This hands-on field position supports the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of pressure piping systems and related mechanical equipment at customer and project sites.

The successful candidate will work from drawings, specifications, and field direction to complete quality installation work, maintain accurate documentation, and support safe and reliable system operation.
Responsibilities

- Install boilers, pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, valves, controls, piping, and related mechanical equipment.
- Install steam, hydronic heating, gas, plumbing, cooling, and venting systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs;, isometrics, drawings, and project specifications.
- Support piping fabrication, equipment positioning, system testing, and quality inspections.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, company vehicles, lifts, forklifts, and other construction equipment safely.
- Maintain daily logs and required project documentation.
- Follow company safety requirements and maintain a clean, professional worksite.

Qualifications





- Relevant apprenticeship training, trade certification, or equivalent industry experience in pipefitting, gas fitting, plumbing, welding, mechanical installation, or a related field.
- Experience with mechanical equipment, pressure piping, steam, hydronic, or related industrial systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Comfortable travelling and working away from home for several days or weeks at a time, depending on project requirements.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to project sites.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and accountability.

Journeypersons, apprentices, and experienced mechanical installers are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $35.00-$46.00 per hour
