Job Summary:
Small community pharmacy located east of Peterborough seeking a part time Pharmacist to join our family-oriented team. The ideal candidate will work 1-2 shifts per weeks. No Sundays or statutory holidays.
Duties:
- Accurately and efficiently dispense medications following legal requirements and professional standards
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure correct dosage, identify drug interactions, and contraindications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
- Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medication use, side effects, and precautions
- Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
- Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient profiles
- Inventory management
Experience:
- Licensed pharmacist
