Join our dynamic team as a Cabinet Shop Assistant and become a vital part of the woodworking and construction process! In this energetic role, you will support the fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom cabinets and woodwork, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and precision. Responsibilities

- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate cabinet fabrication and installation
- Support the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment for cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components
- Prepare materials by measuring, marking, and cutting according to project specifications
- Help with the installation of cabinets, countertops, drywall finishing, flooring, tile laying, siding, and other related tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly storing tools and materials after use




- Support team members in heavy lifting tasks and rebar or framing installation as needed for structural projects
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Qualifications

- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, woodworking or related trades is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is highly valued
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, or technical drawings is a plus
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and construction materials such as drywall, tile, siding or roofing enhances your candidacy
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Basic understanding of plumbing or electrical work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Construction experience involving concrete forming, masonry or restoration projects is a bonus
