As one of Eastern Canada’s premiere PVC window manufacturers, Nordik Windows Inc. (est. 1982) has distinguished itself from other competitors with its commitment to quality, innovation and service.

Our 60,000 square foot production facility located in Vars, ON supports over 60 office and production staff which service install teams across both Ottawa and the Greater Toronto Area. We have a dedicated core of long term employees and we’re looking for the right fit to grow that team.

The position of Production Assembler for Nordik Windows requires efficiency, physical ability, and a positive attitude. Be ready to work in a fast paced environment. No previous experience necessary, we will train, but general aptitude with tools is an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

This cross-functional position will include many production roles including, but not limited to:

- PVC cutting
- Hardware joining
- PVC fusion welding
- Glass handling
- Glazing
- Window assembly
- Packaging windows for shipping

Skills / Qualifications / Requirements

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. independently
- Team player, positive individual with attention to detail
- CSA approved work boots/shoes (steel toe)
- Able to follow all facility safety procedures

- Hours 6:30 am - 4:30 pm M-T, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Fridays

Base wage starts at $20.00 with paid gas allowance. We also operate a piecework bonus pay system where employees are paid more as a bonus for doing more (typical bonus can range anywhere from $3-$8+/hr).
