About Storyboard Communications
Storyboard Communications helps organizations create high-quality corporate video content that supports their marketing, communications, human resources, sales, and broader business objectives.
Through Storyboard Studios, we work with organizations to transform ideas, expertise, and business initiatives into engaging video content that informs audiences, strengthens brands, and drives results. Our role goes beyond video production. We help clients identify the right content opportunities, develop strong creative concepts, and determine how video can best support their broader communications and business strategies.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a strategic, client-focused professional who can serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of clients. This individual will build strong relationships, understand each client’s business and communications priorities, proactively recommend video and content opportunities, and help ensure every project delivers an exceptional client experience and meaningful results.
About the Role
This role sits at the intersection of Client Success, Account Management, Marketing Strategy, and Corporate Communications.
You will manage a portfolio of approximately 15–25 client accounts across a variety of industries, serving as the primary strategic point of contact for each relationship. Your responsibility is not simply to manage incoming video projects, but to understand each client’s business, audience, communications priorities, and marketing objectives to proactively identify where video can help them achieve those goals.
You will work closely with clients to develop content strategies, recommend new video concepts, identify emerging opportunities, and help build forward-looking content plans. Where appropriate, you may participate in client marketing and communications planning meetings, bringing a video and content perspective to broader discussions about upcoming campaigns, initiatives, events, product launches, employee communications, and other business priorities.
A key part of the role will be staying informed about what is happening within each client’s industry. You will conduct peer and competitive analysis to understand how comparable organizations are using video and digital content, identify relevant trends and opportunities, and translate those insights into practical recommendations and new strategies for your clients.
You will also oversee the client relationship throughout the video production process, from the initial strategic and creative conversation through final delivery, ensuring each project remains aligned with the client’s objectives and that they receive a consistently high level of service.
This is not a video editing role.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in marketing, corporate communications, content strategy, account management, or a related discipline who can think strategically and confidently advise senior client stakeholders. Familiarity with video production and creative workflows is an asset, but hands-on video editing or production experience is not required.
Who You Are
You have experience in marketing, communications, content strategy, agency account management, customer success, video production, or a related field.
You are equally comfortable discussing business objectives with senior stakeholders as you are reviewing a creative concept.
You understand how organizations communicate with employees, customers, and stakeholders, and you naturally identify opportunities where video can support those goals.
Most importantly, you're proactive. You don't wait for clients to tell you what they need, you bring them ideas.
