The typical schedule will be:

- Monday to Friday: Approximately 7 hours per day, generally starting in the afternoon and working into the evening
- Saturday or Sunday: Approximately 5–6 hours
- Some flexibility with hours is important, as schedules may occasionally change depending on the children’s sports, activities, events, and family needs.

About the Role We are looking for a reliable, energetic, organized, and caring Mother's Helper / Family Assistant to support our busy household and help with our children's daily activities. This is a full-time position best suited to someone who enjoys working with children, is comfortable managing a busy family schedule, and is happy to help wherever needed around the home. A valid BC Driver's License is required, as a family vehicle is available for use during working hours. Parents are present in the home.

What You'll Do

The role will include:

· Driving children to and from school activities, sports, practices, appointments, playdates, and events.

· Helping keep the children organized and on schedule.

· Supervising and assisting children as needed.

· Running household and family errands, including grocery shopping, pickups, and returns.

· Light meal preparation for the children and family.

· Light household cleaning and tidying.

· Keeping common areas and children’s spaces organized.

· Helping with laundry and other light household tasks as needed.

· Assisting with the general day-to-day needs of a busy household.

Around the Home

· Pitch in with laundry, dishwasher loading/unloading, and general tidying

· Handle grocery runs and miscellaneous household errands

What We're Looking For

- Valid BC Driver's License (required)
- Prior experience with children (childcare, babysitting, camp,



tutoring, etc.)
- Comfortable in a home environment where parents are present
- Reliable, punctual, and takes initiative
- CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified

- Be dependable and punctual.
- Have experience working with children and genuinely enjoy being around kids.
- Be organized and able to manage multiple schedules and responsibilities.
- Be proactive and comfortable taking initiative without always needing direction.
- Have a positive, patient, and flexible attitude.
- Be comfortable helping with light cleaning, meal preparation, and household errands
- Be available for a full time schedule, including one weekend day.
- Be trustworthy and respectful of the family’s privacy.
