Connect Wireless is an authorized TELUS dealer, and we’re changing what a career in wireless retail can look like.

We’re looking for people who want to sell, earn, improve and win — not simply work a retail shift and wait for customers to walk through the door.

You may be new to telecom but naturally great with people and sales. You may already work in wireless and know you’re capable of more. Or you may be a proven salesperson who’s ready for an opportunity to lead.

Three ways to join Connect Wireless

Sales Advisor — $21–$22/hour
You may be new to telecom, but you have strong people skills, sales instincts, ambition and a willingness to learn. We’ll teach you the wireless business.

Senior Sales Advisor — $23–$24/hour
You have a proven sales background and can contribute quickly. Wireless or telecom experience is an asset, but strong sales performance in another industry absolutely counts.

Store Leader — $25–$28/hour
You’re a proven producer ready for greater ownership. You can sell, lead by example, coach others, maintain standards and help drive the performance of a location.

Your experience helps determine where you start. Your performance determines where you go.

In addition to your base wage, you'll have access to performance-based compensation and applicable TELUS/carrier spiffs.

This is a sales job

Our best people don’t sit around waiting for store traffic.

They build relationships. They uncover opportunities. They follow up. They ask for referrals. They contact customers. They identify business opportunities.

When the store is quiet, their instinct is:

“What can I do to create business?”

You’ll also be expected to execute the details properly — customer follow-up, CRM, contracts, trades, device provisioning,



store operations and the other work that protects the customer experience and the money we’ve earned.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll help customers with wireless devices, rate plans,



upgrades and new activations; identify additional consumer and business opportunities; build long-term customer relationships; proactively follow up with customers and prospects; use our CRM to manage opportunities; complete transactions and documentation accurately; participate in outbound sales activity; maintain strong product and industry knowledge; and contribute to the success of your entire store.

Experience

Wireless experience is an asset — not a requirement.

We’re more interested in finding the right person than checking a box on a résumé.

If you’ve been successful in telecommunications, automotive sales, banking, hospitality, fitness, retail, B2B sales or another customer-facing sales environment, we’d like to hear from you.

And if you’re already working in wireless and wondering whether there’s a better chance available, we should probably talk.

Compensation

Sales Advisor: $21–$22/hour
Senior Sales Advisor: $23–$24/hour
Store Leader: $25–$28/hour

Plus performance-based compensation and applicable TELUS/carrier spiffs.

Starting level and compensation are based on relevant experience, demonstrated capability and the responsibilities of the position.
