Position Summary:

The role is responsible for monitoring and tracking the transportation of the Home Delivery outbound shipments and reverse logistics to meet the terms and standards of SDS. The role will concentrate on supporting the logistics functions of Samsung Canada Home Delivery Program from the distribution centers to the end customer through our national delivery agent’s network. This role will involve daily tracing and tracking, evaluating carrier options, coordinating and working closely with the warehouse, carriers and customers along with resolving challenging logistical issues. The position will be responsible for daily updates of E-commerce web portal (Cello) as well as monitoring inventory in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and reporting any discrepancies. The position will also be responsible for the reverse logistics which will involve customer returns, damaged product, lost or stolen goods.

Responsibilities:

- Strategically track and manage outbound shipments in alignment with the goals and objectives of SDS and our SPL partners to maximize customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
- Review daily open DO report exceptions to effectively and efficiently determine appropriate shipment routing and communicating those instructions to the carriers, warehouse and customers.
- Oversee TMS providing real time accurate data,



tracking late and potentially late deliveries and notification of shipment delay.
- Provide day-to-day management of third party transportation providers and warehouse and maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Maintain effective relationships with vendors, carriers and the warehouse to create long-term partnerships.
- Provide daily / weekly / monthly report on carrier performance, on time delivery, issue log etc., and take necessary actions to address with logistics operation issues to maintain KPI
- Manage and resolve challenging logistic problems such as damaged products, lost products, and shipment delays. Work with customer to achieve a satisfactory outcome.
- Provide day-to-day management of the returns and damaged process and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Liaise directly with internal customer to provide notification of RMA issue and ensure process follow-through to prevent issue aging.

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education from a recognized college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-4 years logistics experience.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), SAP and Warehouse Managements Systems (WMS) experience.




- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- The ability to read, prepare, interpret, and understand product shipment information from various order and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and thorough preparation of transportation documents.
- Experience creating and generating reports.
- Solid knowledge of logistics operations related to employees specific area of work, and overall logistics operations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to identify standard problems within the delivery cycle and makes recommendations to change either delivery methods or dates, and authorize standard returns or claims to ensure customer satisfaction.
