Part-Time Café Team Member

15–20 hours per week | Weekend Availability Required

Bingsu Bean is a fast-paced Korean dessert café specializing in bingsu, fresh fruit teas, and specialty drinks. We take pride in creating desserts and beverages that taste outstanding and look just as good — every product leaving our counter should be served camera-ready.

We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented team member who enjoys working with customers and takes genuine pride in their work. Our ideal candidate is someone who can move quickly during a rush, stay productive during quieter periods, and recognize what needs to be done without always waiting to be asked.

This is a part-time position averaging 15–20 hours per week, primarily consisting of weekend shifts. Applicants should be able to commit to the position for a minimum of 6 months. We understand school schedules and can provide reasonable scheduling flexibility around classes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting customers and providing friendly, attentive service
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system
- Preparing our signature bingsu, fresh fruit teas, and specialty beverages
- Following recipes, portioning standards, and presentation guidelines consistently
- Ensuring every order meets our quality and presentation standards before it is served
- Preparing ingredients and completing assigned prep work
- Restocking ingredients, packaging, utensils, and other supplies throughout the shift
- Assisting with inventory checks and communicating when ingredients or supplies are running low
- Maintaining clean and organized workstations, equipment, dining areas, and customer-facing spaces
- Completing opening and closing responsibilities as assigned
- Following proper food-handling, sanitation, and workplace procedures




- Communicating and working effectively with other team members
- Handling customer questions and concerns professionally
- Remaining productive and identifying tasks that need attention during slower periods

- Comfortable cleaning, restocking, prepping, and completing routine café duties
- Able to follow recipes and operating procedures consistently
- Available to work weekends on a regular basis

Experience

Previous café, restaurant, food-service, or retail experience is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right person who demonstrates reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Experience using a POS system is preferred but not essential.

Multilingual abilities are an asset.

College and university students are welcome to apply.
