Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Driver to join our transportation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently across various routes. Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport freight across designated routes, ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests, logs, and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff,



and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Perform routine maintenance or coordinate repairs for heavy equipment and vehicles; assist with minor automotive repairs when necessary.

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with Class 1 license certification.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Strong understanding of route planning and navigation tools.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to safety and customer service.

Pay: $84,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
