ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Sessional Instructor to teach GEOG 381 – Regional Geography of Canada in Spring 2027, and possibly Winter 2028.

Course Description: A study of the regional geography of Canada, particularly the physical framework and its importance in the history of Canada. Using detailed studies, the course covers the concept of geographic region and the patterns and characteristics of selected regions.

Main responsibilities for this position will include:

Creating syllabus for course

Writing and delivery lectures

Grading assignments

APPOINTMENT/TERM DATES: Spring (May-June) 2027, and possibly Winter (Jan-April) 2028

QUALIFICATIONS:

PhD or ABD in Geography, with a specialization in Canadian Geography





Teaching experience beneficial
