What You'll Do

As an Automotive Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair and maintain customer vehicles while helping us deliver the level of service we want Cranbrook Nissan to be known for.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs
- Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer resources to accurately identify vehicle concerns
- Clearly document inspections, recommendations and completed repairs




- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding diagnosis and repair requirements
- Perform work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership safety standards
- Maintain an organized and professional work area
- Participate in manufacturer training and ongoing technical development
- Work as part of a team to keep the shop productive and customers moving

- Have strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Can work independently while still being part of a team
- Understand the importance of accurate documentation
- Want to continue developing their technical skills
- Care about doing the job properly the first time
- Want a long-term opportunity with a growing dealership

Red Seal/Journeyperson certification is preferred, and Nissan experience is an asset, but we're interested in talking to experienced automotive technicians from all manufacturer backgrounds.
