· Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

· Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Summary of the position:

We are seeking professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team. Successful candidates will work in a variety of environments, including:

- Corporate and office buildings
- Private schools and educational facilities
- Construction sites
- Other client locations requiring skilled security services

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and patrol assigned properties
- Control access to sites and verify visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems
- Complete daily activity and incident reports
- Respond to incidents and emergencies according to site procedures
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections
- Enforce site-specific security policies and procedures
- Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, students, contractors, and the public
- Maintain a visible security presence
- Contact emergency services when required
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Strong observation and attention to detail
- Strong report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

Priority will be given to candidates who have:

- Open availability for days, afternoons, nights, and weekends
- A valid G2 or G driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- Previous security experience (an asset)




- A strong customer service background

- CCTV monitoring
- Security patrols and reporting

Private School Security

- Student, staff, and visitor safety
- Access control
- Property monitoring
- Supporting a safe and professional learning environment

Construction Site Security

- Perimeter and site patrols
- Access control for workers, contractors, and visitors
- Equipment and material monitoring
- Incident prevention and reporting
