We are currently seeking experienced Journeyman and Apprentice Heavy-Duty Mechanics to join our team at our LaCorey, Alberta shop. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, safety, and performance of our fleet and equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a diverse range of oilfield and fluid hauling equipment to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Journeyman base rate starts at $49 with wage incentives and premiums such as Service Truck, CVIP, Lead Hand, etc.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of company equipment, including Water Trucks, Tankers and Super B Tankers, Body Vacs, Combo Vacs, and Semi Vacs, Pressure Trucks (5K), High-Pressure Equipment (15K–40K), Chemical Trucks
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections
- Complete overhauls, rebuilds, and refurbishments of truck and trailer components
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and service documentation
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and fleet performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and shop environment

What We’re Looking For

- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or actively working towards completion
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with heavy equipment, commercial vehicles,



or oilfield equipment
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence required; Class 1 Driver's Licence considered a strong asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
- Experience working with hydraulic and electrical systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
