Position: Project Leader - Engineering (Energy)
Location: Cornwall, ON (Onsite with some hybrid flexibility)
Structure: Contract 12 months to start
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 p/h inc. + HST

Deliverables

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of multidisciplinary projects through Identification, Initiation, Definition, Execution, and Closeout, ensuring commitments are achieved within approved scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety targets.
- Develop and coordinate project requirements, execution plans, estimates, schedules, business cases, constructability reviews, risk management, project documentation, forecasts, and change controls, including materials required for senior management and Board approvals.
- Lead contract and commercial management activities throughout the procurement lifecycle, including scopes/specifications, RFPs, tender evaluations, contract awards, contractor performance, changes, issue resolution, and contract closeout.
- Lead matrix project teams and coordinate engineering, construction, operations, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, resolving delivery issues and ensuring project and contract requirements, responsibilities, and decisions are clearly communicated and documented.

Experience Required

- 6–8+ years of progressively responsible Project Management experience, including delivery of increasingly complex,



multi-contract and multi-stakeholder projects with significant schedule constraints.
- Demonstrated experience across the complete project lifecycle, including project requirements/planning, estimating, business cases, RFP/tendering and contract award, execution, change management, cost/schedule control, forecasting, and project closeout.
- Robust experience delivering projects within a generating station, power generation, construction, utilities, or comparable heavy industrial environment, with familiarity with plant equipment, construction methods, codes, standards, and field execution.
- Strong commercial and contract management capabilities, including procurement, contractor management, cost accounting, forecasting, quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental considerations.
- Four-year university degree in an appropriate discipline, supplemented by Project Management and business/economics knowledge, or equivalent education and experience, with strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
