Position Title: Packaging & Delivery Technician
Department: Operations
Reports To: Operations Manager / Packaging & Logistics Coordinator
Location: GrowLiv Biologicals, Amherstburg, Ontario

Position Summary

The Packaging & Delivery Technician is responsible for preparing, packaging, labeling, and delivering GrowLiv Biologicals products to customers while ensuring product quality, accuracy, and timely service. This role supports daily operations by maintaining organized inventory, preparing customer orders, and ensuring products are handled according to company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging

- Package biological control products according to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Verify correct product type, quantity, lot number, and labeling before shipment.
- Ensure packaging materials are clean, secure, and suitable for maintaining product quality.
- Prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Deliveries

- Deliver products safely and on schedule to customers using company vehicles.
- Load and unload products carefully to prevent damage.
- Obtain proof of delivery and maintain delivery records.
- Communicate delivery status and report any issues promptly.

Order Preparation

- Pick customer orders accurately from inventory.
- Prepare packing slips and shipping labels.
- Assist with courier shipments and local deliveries.

Inventory Support

- Organize finished products and packaging materials.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Report low packaging supplies and damaged materials.

Quality & Housekeeping

- Perform visual quality checks before products leave the facility.
- Keep packaging, storage, and delivery areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety, sanitation, and biosecurity procedures.

Equipment & Vehicle Care

- Maintain cleanliness of company delivery vehicles.




- Inspect delivery vehicle before use and report maintenance issues.
- Operate packaging equipment safely and responsibly.

Qualifications

- Bachelor/Diploma in Business / supply chain or related disciplines.
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous warehouse, packaging, delivery, greenhouse, or manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
- Basic computer skills for order and delivery documentation.

- Compliance with GrowLiv SOPs and safety procedures.
- Clean and organized work area maintained daily.

Working Conditions

- Combination of warehouse, packaging room, greenhouse, and customer delivery locations.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and driving.
- Occasional overtime during peak production and shipping periods.

Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
