Birdseye Cabinetry is a small, well-established custom cabinet shop based in Nanaimo. Since 2010 we've built a robust reputation across mid-Vancouver Island for exceptional quality and outstanding client service. We're looking to add a skilled, experienced cabinetry installer to work alongside our team on custom kitchen and cabinet-refacing installations.

Responsibilities

- Install cabinets with precision, following design plans and meeting client expectations.
- Use proper installation techniques and materials to achieve durability and a high-quality finish.
- Read and interpret detailed layout drawings to guide the installation.
- Keep a clean, organized, and professional work environment in clients' homes.

What You'll Need





- Solid carpentry skills and the ability to handle a range of installation tasks.
- Professional cabinet or finish-carpentry installation experience — minimum 1 year required; 3+ years preferred. Pay is scaled to experience.
- Strong attention to detail and sound problem-solving instincts.
- A reliable communicator who can work independently on-site and collaborate with the team.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical as it relates to cabinet installations (an asset).

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
