Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product merchandising, and support daily store operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pets, possess strong communication skills, and be eager to contribute to a welcoming shopping workplace. This position offers an opportunity to develop retail and sales skills while working in a dynamic team setting.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products related to pet care, including pet food, accessories, and supplies.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked with high-demand products.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on pet products, including gardening and landscaping supplies for outdoor pet environments.
- Handle customer inquiries both in-store and via e-commerce platforms with professionalism and clarity.




- Support store maintenance tasks such as landscape upkeep around the store premises to create an inviting environment.
- Process transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and managing returns or exchanges.

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or landscaping maintenance is a plus.
- Multilingual abilities are welcomed to better serve diverse customer bases.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining store presentation.
- Excellent communication skills in English are required; additional language skills are considered an asset.
- Interest or experience in e-commerce platforms can enhance your ability to support online sales channels.
