Responsibilities

- Support the Sales Department in meeting its sales quotas and reinforce profit objectives on a daily, monthly and annual basis
- Assist the GM in forecasting, including vehicle inventory, gross objectives, expenses and employees
- Interview, hire, train, develop, and motivate the Sales Department team
- Organize and conduct Sales Department meetings and updates as needed
- Manage and develop team through regular feedback and quarterly/annual performance reviews
- Participate in all product training in order to maintain a high level of product knowledge
- Ensure each salesperson follows all dealership processes and procedures to guarantee customer satisfaction and retention, thereby creating an excellent Customer Satisfaction Index rating on the sales, delivery and follow-up
- Handle elevated customer issues or complaints until resolution
- Identify and implement strategic opportunities for improvement in department processes

Qualifications

- 3+ years of automotive SALES MANAGER experience
- Automotive sales preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent follow up and customer relation skills
- Computer literate -Microsoft Office, CDK, GOMARKET
- Valid drivers' license
- Valid B.C. VSA License
- Willing to work Richmond Auto Mall hours including weekends and evenings
