GigHound is hiring dedicated, physically robust Warehouse Freight & Parcel Sorters on behalf of our client, a national leader in Canadian courier, freight, and logistics services at their major National Hub Operation (NHO) in Ontario.

This is a full-time, long-term temporary placement running immediately through the end of January 2027 (with potential for ongoing extension based on operational needs).

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of our client's active logistics dock during their busiest evening window. You’ll be responsible for manually unloading heavy freight and parcels from trailers, scanning each item accurately, and using a manual pallet jack to maneuver loaded skids to designated staging zones. You will repeatedly lift and stack packages up to 70+ lbs at a rapid, production-focused pace to prepare shipments for immediate delivery.

Key Requirements

- Manual Pallet Jack Experience: Direct hands-on experience safely operating manual pallet jacks on a dock or warehouse floor is mandatory.
- Heavy Physical Stamina: Must be capable of continuous heavy lifting (repeatedly lifting up to 70+ lbs), bending, twisting, and staying on your feet for the full 6.5-hour shift.
- Full-Time Availability: 100% commitment to the Monday through Friday (5:00 PM – 11:30 PM) schedule from now through the end of January 2027.
- Safety Gear:



Must own CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots/shoes and a high-visibility safety vest prior to starting.
- Clear Background Check: Must be able to pass a criminal record check prior to shift deployment.
- Reliable Transportation: Ability to arrive consistently on time for all scheduled 5:00 PM shifts.
