We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our current team! The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks to support construction projects and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform physical labour on construction sites including hand shoveling, raking, lifting and carrying of materials (up to 50 lbs.)

- Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas

- Work may include general construction, sewer and watermain installation, traffic control and landscaping

- Work may include assisting with install of various types of pipes (CSP, Concrete, HDPE AND PVC) to project specifications.

- Coordinate layout of pipe with drawings and confirm slopes using pipe laser.

- Install catch basins and maintenance holes including benching and parging.

- Interpret utility locates and assist with daylighting of utilities.

- Operate compaction equipment and small tools (cut-off saw, generator, jackhammer, jack).

- Cut pipe as required and remove existing pipe systems.

- Safely operate and maintain Company owned, leased or rented heavy equipment including excavators, rubber tire loaders, skid steer loaders, compactors,



service trucks for Morven Construction and other Customers.

- Load and unload materials

- Follow safety guidelines and procedures

- Work collaboratively with team members

- Work will include travel to various job sites within the area

Requirements:

- Previous experience in construction or related field preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools
- Valid G Class Driver's License
- Willingness to learn and take direction, strong work ethic and reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
