Overview

Nova ABA Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our expanding team as a part-time Independent Contractor. The successful candidate will provide in-home and in-centre assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children with speech, language, and communication needs in Brampton. Working collaboratively with families and an interdisciplinary team, the Speech-Language Pathologist will play an essential role in supporting each child's communication development and overall success. This position offers a rewarding prospect to make a meaningful difference through evidence-based, family-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver services in home and virtual settings as needed
- Provide parent coaching and home strategies to support carryover of communication skills
- Collaborate with Registered Behaviour Analysts (RBAs), Instructor Therapists, and other professionals to promote coordinated, family-centred care while working within each professional's scope of practice.
- Provide caregiver training as appropriate




- Complete session notes and clinical documentation within established timelines.
- Stay current with best practices and professional standards through continuing education

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Minimum 1 years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities is preferred
- Experience supporting speech sound disorders, language delays, fluency/stuttering, and social communication
- Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to client homes.

Schedule:

- Flexible
- Weekdays and/or weekends
- Initial caseload of approximately 2–3 clients, with opportunities to expand as referrals become available

Pay: $75.00-$85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 4.0 per week

Work Location: In person
