Job Description

We operate and maintain the LINX and LINX+ transit services on behalf of the County of Simcoe. We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable dispatcher to act as our company’s first point of contact for booking and scheduling rides. In this position, you will be in charge of maintaining call logs, monitoring routes, transferring messages, and directing field units.

Dispatcher duties and responsibilities

- Customer service skills

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Knowledge of GPS systems and geography

- Multitasking skills

- Ability to resolve conflict and solve problems

- Knowledge of basic computer programs and aptitude to learn new software systems

- Excellent communication skills





- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
