Charlesglen Toyota - Alberta’s Celebration Destination, is family-owned and operated and one of Calgary’s largest Toyota dealerships. We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Product Advisor to join our Sales Team.
A successful career in automotive sales isn’t built overnight. It comes from learning the business, consistently following up, building relationships, creating opportunities, and developing a customer base that grows over time.
If you connect easily with people, are coachable, motivated by goals, and willing to put in the work to build a rewarding sales career, we’d love to meet you.
WHAT WE OFFER!
- Competitive performance-based compensation with the opportunity to grow your earnings as you build your business
- Structured training, ongoing coaching, and support from our Sales Management Team
- Toyota product and manufacturer training
- The opportunity to represent the Toyota brand and sell both new and used vehicles
- An established dealership with a strong customer base and opportunities to build your own network
- A supportive, team-oriented dealership environment
- On-site Café
- Free lunch on Saturdays
- Employee discounts on parts, service, and vehicles (conditions apply)
WHAT YOU GET TO DO!
Reporting to the Sales Managers, you’ll help customers through one of their biggest purchasing decisions while developing the skills, relationships, and pipeline needed to build a successful automotive sales career.
You will:
- Welcome customers and create a positive, skilled dealership experience.
- Ask the right questions, listen carefully, and understand each customer’s needs, lifestyle, and budget.
- Help customers select the right new or used vehicle and confidently guide them through the sales process.
- Develop strong knowledge of Toyota vehicles, features, technology, leasing, accessories, and available options.
- Deliver engaging and professional vehicle presentations and demonstrations.
- Consistently follow up with customers and manage your sales pipeline.
- Develop your network, generate new opportunities,
ask for referrals, and build a loyal customer base.
- Work closely with the Sales Managers and broader dealership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Participate actively in training, coaching, and ongoing development.
- Take ownership of your activity, goals, follow-up, and results.
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
You don’t need automotive experience to succeed here. We can teach you our products, systems, and sales process. We’re looking for someone who can connect with people, wants to learn, and has the persistence to keep doing the right things even when the results aren’t immediate.
- 1–3 years of sales or customer-facing experience preferred; automotive experience is an asset.
- Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Coachability and a genuine willingness to learn.
- Self-motivation and the discipline to consistently follow through.
- Comfort working toward goals and being accountable for results.
- The confidence to develop new relationships and create your own sales opportunities.
- A professional, approachable, and engaging presence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
- Valid AMVIC certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience with dealership management (DMS) software is an asset.
READY TO BUILD SOMETHING?
If you’re looking for a role where you can simply wait for the next customer to walk through the door, this probably isn’t it.
But if you enjoy working with people, want to develop your sales skills, and are ready to put consistent effort into building a customer base and a long-term career, we’d like to hear from you.
