Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in food service and preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the standards of our kitchen.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal preparation.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or a similar role within the restaurant or food industry.




- Robust knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Our second location Kam Wai Legacy 金威劉傳 (location: 2285 E Hastings Street) is coming soon. Successful candidate is required to work at Chinatown or Legacy location.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
