Job Summary

Position:

We are currently looking for experienced DZ Driver's for our Windsor location

Responsibilities and Duties

- Must be able to drive a manual transmission
- Show up for work every day ready & fit to work
- Perform daily inspection of a company vehicle as per MTO requirements
- Report any general maintenance issues
- Ensure proper load securement of materials, strapping, etc.
- Follow the company's Safety Policies at all times
- Complete customer deliveries safely and efficiently according to the delivery schedule
- Maintain a clean and safe working Truck/Cab
- Assist customers as needed with a professional attitude!

IMPORTANT: * This position does involve heavy lifting and repetitive motion. As such, it is not suitable for anyone with any pre-existing back, knee, shoulder, arm, elbow, or hand condition/injury.

Job Requirements:

- Valid Ontario DZ Drivers License
- Clean Drivers abstract and CVOR
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Minimum 25 Years of age
- Must be able to drive a Manual transmission
- Must be familiar with both city and county roads
- Full-Time Days (Monday- Friday, 1/2 day Saturday as needed)
- Ability to work long hours in a physically demanding setting
- Physical stamina to sustain repetitive movements and heavy lifting of roofing, building materials (50 - 100 lbs.)
- Solid focus on Health & Safety
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Reliability and excellent attendance a must
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Excellent oral communication
- CSA approved safety ankle boots
- Black pants or Cargo Shorts
