Summary
As a Courier Driver with a FULL Class 5 license, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and timely delivery of goods. Your core skills in customer service, heavy lifting, and communication will be essential in ensuring efficient and safe transportation. Your relevant experience in warehouse operations and commercial driving will further enhance your ability to meet the demands of this role. Previous courier/delivery experience is an asset but we will consider training an otherwise suitable employee. Successful applicant will:

- Have a full Class 5 license
- Have a previous customer service background and a desire to provide an excellent customer experience.
- Have the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks and should be able to lift up to 75 LBS (34.01 kgs) .
- Possess or be willing to obtain CSA approved safety footwear.
- Minimum two years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to provide a 3 year drivers abstract with no more than 3 demerit points.
- Comfortable navigating Range Roads
- Be punctual and consistently able to be at work on time, with references to confirm reliability.
- Be an experienced and proficient driver able to safely operate delivery vehicles up to 1 Ton cube truck.
- Able to speak, write and understand English as a languag

Duties:





- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle
- Verify the accuracy of packages and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Maintain proper documentation and records of deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

Skills:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a courier driver or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent knowledge of local roads and routes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 5:00pm
