One permanent full-time unionized position, 40 hour per week
Work schedule subject to changes in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

Reporting to the Foreman of Public Works, the operator performs maintenance of municipal roads and its infrastructures, snow removal of streets, sidewalks and provides support for other department requiring heavy machinery.

REQUIREMENTS

- High School Diploma
- Hold a three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the public works field (municipal sector or private contractor)
- Manual and mechanical skills, knowledge of practices, methods, tools and vehicles used in the public works sector
- Hold a valid driver’s license, class AZ or DZ (or equivalent)
- Bilingualism, French and English
- Initiative and autonomy

REMUNERATION

$28.80 hourly according to the Collective Agreement presently in force.
