Snow Removal LabourerGuaranteed Minimum Hours + $1,000 Season-Completion Bonus

Remi’s Mechanical Services is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals for our winter snow-removal team.

This is a six-month seasonal position running from approximately Dec 1, 2026, to Mar 30, 2027. We offer guaranteed minimum hours throughout the season, plus a $1,000 season-completion bonus for employees who successfully complete the full term.

What We Offer

The guaranteed hours may include snow removal, equipment maintenance, shop work and other assigned duties during weeks with limited snowfall. Employees must remain available and in good standing to qualify for the guarantee and completion bonus.

Responsibilities

- Operate backpack blowers, sweepers and other snow-removal equipment
- Shovel sidewalks, entrances, stairs and other designated areas
- Apply ice-control products as directed
- Explicit snow safely, thoroughly and efficiently
- Inspect and care for assigned equipment
- Follow instructions and complete work independently
- Follow all company safety procedures




- Work outdoors in cold, snowy and challenging conditions

Qualifications

- Physically capable of shovelling, lifting and working outdoors for extended periods
- Dependable and available when snow events occur
- Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays when required
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle to travel to and from work
- Previous snow-removal or equipment experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
