The Department of Health, Seniors and Long Term Care is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Senior Clerk / Records Officer, to join Comptrollership Branch
Duties:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, the Records Officer / Senior Clerk is responsible for administering the department’s Records Management Program, as well as undertaking a wide range of duties to support contract and purchasing management for the department.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Extensive experience in records management, including maintaining schedules, retention, archival and retrieval of records.
- Experience monitoring purchasing contracts, including tracking invoices, payments, and preparing financial reports.
- Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, guidelines, rules, terms and conditions.
- Strong attention to detail to work efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage conflicting demands.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel or similar software applications..
- Strong verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and professionally with a broad range of staff members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills to respond effectively through email and internal communication channels.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage change well within a team environment.
Desired:
- Experience working within SAP computer software, specifically within the financial payment processes and reporting modules.
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent program/training in administration.
