Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Estimator / Site Foreperson in Athens to support estimating, project coordination, and field operations across Eastern Ontario. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands civil construction, can develop accurate project estimates, and is comfortable leading crews in the field.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare estimates, budgets, and material take-offs for civil construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, grades, and project requirements
- Meet with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop project opportunities
- Lead small field crews of approximately 2–4 employees
- Oversee 2–3 projects at a time, ensuring work stays organized and on schedule
- Maintain daily site records, safety documentation, and project updates
- Assist with company scheduling and weekly project planning
- Support field operations and equipment/material requirements as needed
- Work with aggregate, earthwork, utility, and asphalt projects
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards

What We’re Looking For





- 5+ years of hands-on civil construction experience
- Previous experience with estimating and field crew supervision
- Solid knowledge of earthwork, utilities, and asphalt
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand grades
- Experience with survey equipment, laser levels, and/or GPS
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple projects
- Confident communication and crew leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
- AutoCAD experience is an asset
- Experience with HeavyJob/HeavyBid is an asset
- Civil Engineering Technician/Technology diploma or equivalent experience is an asset
- CET or C.Tech designation is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to pass a background check for institutional projects
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
