Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Encorp Sorter to join our Kelowna team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting unload Encorp trucks with pallet jacks as well as received bags with Scanners. You will also be a part of the team to tip/process bags based on production standards.
Shift: Full time Monday - Friday with shift start times ranging from 7am - 8am. OT as required.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Unload mega bags from trucks using pallet jacks
- Scan bags into COC
- Report any problems / tags missing to Supervisor
- Daily tipping of bags into blowers achieving daily production standards
- Organize and wrap supplies
- Process bag in box
- Help in other areas when needed (sortline/eps/ppp)
- Enter weights thru electronic systems and report any errors or disputes with materials
- High level of safety standards as operating in a yellow zone
- Comply with all company/Worksafe BC policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High standard of safety as working in busy co-hab area
- Comfortable with scanners and computer technology
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Able to walk/stand for 2–3-hour increments
- Able to follow safe lifting / moving ergonomics
- Able to work in plant conditions – dusty / hot in summer / cold in winter
