Position Summary
Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Reservations is responsible for assisting customers with travel reservations, answering incoming phone calls, and providing accurate information about flights, fares, policies, and travel requirements as well as checking in Passengers for travel and weighing baggage.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Services
· Answer incoming customer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
· Assist customers with booking, changing, or cancelling flight reservations
· Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests while maintaining a positive customer experience
· Check Passengers in for travel including weighing and recording baggage
Data Accuracy
· Provide accurate information regarding flight schedules, fares, baggage policies, and travel requirements
· Process reservations and customer requests using computerized airline reservation systems
· Verify passenger details and ensure accuracy of booking information
· Document customer interactions and maintain records in the reservation system
· Maintain confidentiality of customer information
Communication and Compliance
· Follow company procedures and airline regulations when handling reservations
· Coordinate with other departments when necessary to resolve customer issues
· Responsible for balancing the cash drawer and reconciling daily sales transactions at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and reporting any discrepancies to management.
Qualifications:
Required:
· Must be age of majority (i.e. 18 years plus)
· Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent communication (both written and verbal and interpersonal skill; this includes conflict resolution, active listening and the ability to maintain diplomacy and integrity while representing Northway Aviation LP.
· Team player who is flexible and adaptable with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, with the ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments efficiently to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
· Proficient computer skills with the ability to adapt to and learn new computer operating systems and programs. This includes but is not limited to: Microsoft Office products (i.e.
Word, Outlook)
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Conditions of Employment: Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Preferred Skills:
· Previous experience in Aviation is an asset
· Previous experience with Take Flight Software is an asset
