We need active, energetic, friendly and outgoing people for healthcare equipment sales in the Lower Mainland, serving people with postural and mobility challenges. We work with medical professionals to assist children and adults with their personal health equipment needs. Our products are power and manual wheelchairs, seating and positioning products, hospital beds and a variety of other assistive devices and aids, and we have been in business for over 30 years with a high reputation.
This is a prime opportunity in a growing industry. If you have experienced direct sales, or public-facing or leadership opportunities, and possess the right attitude and aptitude, there is potential to learn this growing field rapidly and launch an excellent sales career, while gaining the confidence of our staff, medical prescribers, and the clients we serve.
A willingness to learn medical terminology coupled with an ability to understand technical qualities is key. Our power mobility products can be very complex for example, with customized electronics and other features. Basic tool skills are also needed. Heavy lifting is occasionally required. We are willing to train the right person.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Compassion for children and adults with disabilities.
Positive health and physical fitness; can lift 70 - 90 pounds on occasion.
Clearly spoken and written English language proficiency.
Mandarin is also helpful, but not required.
Citizenship or valid work permit
Residence in Lower Mainland.
Driver’s license.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment setup and adjustment
Delivery, minor repair and pickup from clients and suppliers
Liaise with professional medical prescribers and equipment suppliers
Scheduling of appointments and service events
Negotiation of detailed equipment prescription recommendations
Costing and pricing
Quotation preparation
Trial fittings and final delivery
Sales follow up with clients and prescribers
Some assistance with organization and maintenance of shop and showroom areas may be required.
COMPENSATION:
We are willing to train someone with a good background and the right aptitude and attitude.
Remuneration starting at $45 - 60k plus potential bonus incentive system, depending on experience and qualifications.
