Job Summary

Duties

- Assist with sorting, loading, and unloading linens, hospital garments, and other laundry items
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
- Ensure all items are properly inspected for quality and cleanliness before distribution




- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for hospital linens to prevent contamination
- Support the team with general cleaning tasks around the facility to uphold hygiene standards
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately

Requirements

- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting hospital staff
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to laundry equipment and cleaning supplies
