About the Position:

RX Connect Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Billing Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely billing for our patients' medications and services. Duties and Responsibilities

- Process and submit insurance claims for prescription medications and related services.




- Verify insurance information, including eligibility and coverage.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Coordinate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to address billing inquiries and issues.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless and productive billing processes.
- Stay up-to-date on insurance policies and billing regulations.
- Assist with other pharmacy duties as needed.

Job Requirements

- Proficient in Kroll order entry and third party adjudication/billing (minimum 2 years of experience)
- Retail or community pharmacy experience (minimum 2 years of experience)
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy billing experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Effective organizational skills and excellent time management skills with the proven ability to multi-task
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues independently in an effective and efficient manner
- Detail oriented with the ability to work under minimal supervision
