Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our manufacturing and facility environments. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning workspace, supporting our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across manufacturing equipment, facilities, and infrastructure to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct welding tasks, electrical installations, and repairs adhering to safety standards and technical specifications.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and ensure operational efficiency.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, document maintenance activities, and track asset histories.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, providing leadership and guidance to team members or contractors as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, schematics updates, and safety compliance for facilities maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer service requests related to facility issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities environment.
- Robust mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing settings.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical systems and working with schematics.
- Skilled in welding techniques and familiar with industrial safety protocols.
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and CMMS platforms.
- Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on safety, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
