Urban Sawing & Scanning has been cutting through concrete and expectations since 1976. With over 40 years of experience, we’ve built a reputation as BC’s go-to crew for concrete cutting, coring, and scanning. Now, we’re looking for new teammates to join the action.

We are looking for team members to fill the positions of Concrete Saw Helpers and Concrete Saw Operators. If you’re someone who takes pride in doing solid work (literally), enjoys working with your hands, and wants to be part of a crew that values safety, skill, and good vibes — we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Operate slab saws, wall saws, and core drills to cut and core concrete or if you are a Helper, assist the Operator with cutting and coring tasks
- Grind, break, and remove concrete as needed
- Load and unload gear and materials
- Keep job sites clean and safe
- Be a safety champion — for yourself and your crew
- Deliver top-notch work that sets the bar high
- Work respectfully and professionally with clients and coworkers
- Pitch in on other tasks to help projects succeed.

Requirements

Concrete Cutting Helpers




- Familiararity with concrete cutting equipment, an asset
- Some construction site experience working around machinery
- Solid safety sense and awareness
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, a strong asset.
- A willingness to learn.
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Good communication skills and a team-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on the fly.

Concrete Cutters - all of above +
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with concrete cutting gear
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, a robust asset.
- Experience with slab saws, wall saws, or core drills.
- Solid background in construction and concrete cutting.
- A willingness to learn and help others grow.

Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
